“The smile on my face doesn’t mean my life is perfect. It means I appreciate what I have and what God has blessed me with.”

Happy Face

Beyond chocolate bunnies and Easter egg hunts, Easter is also about love, happiness, and God’s blessings. It has become a day when family and friends come together and bonds grow stronger. And it’s a time when we count our many blessings – both large and small.

A public experiment designed to lift the nation’s spirits has reported its hopeful conclusions – that smiling, counting your blessings and reliving happy memories will make you happier.

The study found that thinking of a positive thing that happened the day before was by far the most effective way for people to cheer themselves up, providing a 15% boost in happiness.

Every day, hour, minute and second of every single day I find a new reason why I am blessed.

What truly makes this important is being able to find the blessing in every one of your gray clouds. Let’s say you had a bad day and it seems like the end of the world. Sometimes you have to step back and look at the bigger picture, that’s just life.

I truly feel like I’ve got everything I need right in front of me and here’s why.

Family: Family is my everything. Without family, we might never be able to have the strength to get through the day.

Being a part of a team: My team has always been my second family because I think I spend more hours at my practice with them than my actual family but that’s okay – we are one unit and having 100% trust in each other is the only way to get the job done.

Education:  Being able to learn about things we love and want to do for the rest of our lives is a blessing.

Faith: Believing in something bigger than us is incredible and most people couldn’t imagine going a day without their faith.

Health:  Being healthy is definitely a blessing – and that includes your oral health – which affects so many other parts of your body.

The spirit of Easter is all about hope, love and joyful living. Take a moment this Easter – and throughout the entire year – to count your blessings.

Happy Easter from our family to yours!
