Keeping You Safe – Always!
Like many of you, I have received a number of e-mails from restaurants, retail businesses, and service businesses during the past week assuring me of their commitments to wash their hands more frequently and to disinfect the public areas more thoroughly with the threat of this new virus. I must say that it surprises me to know that they haven’t done these things in the past since they are all simple, common sense approaches to staying well.
Please rest assured that we are continuing to use the strategies that we have always utilized to provide the best infection control to you — our family ofp atients. We have always been prepared to protect you from any threat of infection, and this commitment to you continues during this challenging time. We have always sterilized all of our equipment or used disposable items when necessary. We have always utilized frequent and thorough handwashing practices. We have always disinfected with the best products available our counter-tops, tray tables, and any other surfaces with which you come in contact. We have always wrapped our equipment in plastic wraps of varying sizes to keep you safe. We have always worn gloves and protective gear to keep you safe as well as keeping our team members safe. We have always asked our team members to stay home when they have been sick—our policy has always been that they must be naturally “fever-free” for at least 24 hours before returning to work.
Our newest addition to staying safe and healthy within our tropical resorts are ionic air purifiers which are found now inside each treatment room! You might be interested to know that they are running twenty-four hours a day—seven days a week! This addition was Divinely Inspired as we were searching for ways to make our tropical resorts even healthier for our patient family and our team members way before the virus reared its ugly head in the United States.
Regarding “social distancing”, we will modify the schedule so that your seating is away from other patients at this time. If you are early, you may need to wait for the actual start time of your appointment. Further, if you would be more comfortable wearing a mask and/or gloves while visiting our office, we will have them available for you.
As we annually update your medical history, we will assist you with the forms so that you will not need to touch additional items in the office. As always, we will make all computer notations, and we will customize care for each person. If you select a magazine, newspaper, or book to enjoy, we will send it with you in one of our famous “green bags” as a gift!
Finally, your health and well-being remain as our top priority! If you are feeling sick or feverish, please consider re-scheduling your visit for April. We want to limit the spread of all illness—as always!
It is our belief that our locations are the safest places to be as we continue to deliver the dental care that you want, deserve, and need!
We look forward to seeing you soon!
Dr. Len Anglis and Team
P.S. If you find yourself working from home or have had your work schedule altered by the changes made, please give us a call, and we can make arrangements for your dental care earlier than we planned!
